People often ask me if forgetting people’s names, or not being able to find their car in the carpark are signs of dementia.   I’ve come to realise that there is some fear and misunderstanding around the word dementia, especially for people in older age, or those who have had a family member living with dementia. 

In these community talks I provide down-to-earth, practical information about dementia. I hope to empower people with knowledge, and help dispel the myths that dementia is something to be feared, and there is nothing we can do to prevent getting it.  Everyone is welcome. ​​​​
